BancNet, the country's first multibank and multichannel electronic-payment network, celebrated its 20th anniversary last July 16 at the InterContinental Hotel in Makati City with guest of honor Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Amado Tetangco, Jr.
The anniversary event was also a venue for honoring member-banks with the best-performing ATM networks and biggest transaction volumes over the past five years Service Level Awards were given to the following Member Banks: BSP Governor Amando Tetangco, Jr.(4th from left), BancNet chairman Ricardo Chua (5th from left) and president Francisco Caparros, Jr.(2nd from right) with BancNet's top performing banks ( from left): Highest growth in unique users of Debit Shopping- Metrobank ( represented by EVP Fabian Dee) ; Highest growth in unique users of Bills Payment - PBCom (represented by FVP Roberto Reyes); Top Onsite and Offsite ATMs- China Bank ( represented by AVP Carol Chua) ; Highest Host Availability Rate- Citystate (represented by president Alfred Cabangon) and Highest Transaction Completion Rate- Philtrust ( represented by VP George Castro).
